Rangers defender Danny Wilson has explained that his side will gladly settle for a 1-0 win when they take on Raith Rovers in a Scottish Championship game at Ibrox tomorrow.

The Gers, who edged out St. Mirren 1-0 at the weekend to consolidate top spot in the league, won by the same scoreline at Raith Rovers earlier in the month.

Although Rangers are unbeaten in 12 matches in all competitions, the goals seem to have dried up a bit for Mark Warburton’s team; the Scottish giants have scored one goal each in their last five league outings, winning four of those.

And Wilson, who admitted that his side have not been prolific in front of goal recently, however, insisted that victories are most important and that Rangers would happily take a 1-0 win over Raith Rovers.

“We controlled the game, but it was the same story as it has been in the last couple of weeks where we maybe haven’t been firing on all cylinders in all areas", he told Rangers TV.

“Our play in general has been good, and hopefully one day more will go in for us.

“We will take another 1-0 win though, and another three points as that is the most important thing.”

Rangers currently find themselves 11 points clear at the top of the Scottish Championship table, following second-placed Hibernian’s 3-2 loss at Dumbarton on Saturday.
