Leeds United Under-21s boss Paul Hart feels young academy forward Eoghan Stokes has been in terrific form lately and is happy to see the improvements in the 19-year-old.

The Irish Under-19 international is a regular face in the Leeds Under-21 team and has been turning in some fine performances for them over the course of the last few weeks.




While the Whites lost to Hull earlier this week, Stokes again caught the attention of everyone with his lively display up front and earned praise from Under-21s manager Hart for his showing.

The Leeds academy boss is happy to see the consistency the youngster has been displaying for the last few weeks and has seen some marked improvements in Stokes’ game.
 


Hart, assessing the game against Hull, said on LUTV: “Eoghan Stokes I thought was excellent.

“His performances have been terrific in the last few weeks, and he has improved greatly.”

With the Leeds senior side struggling in front of the goal over the past few months, it remains to be seen whether Steve Evans decides to promote the youngster to the first team squad in order to bolster his attacking resources towards the end of the season.
