Despite last night’s loss to West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason is confident that his side can put one over bitter rivals Arsenal on Saturday.

Tottenham missed an opportunity to go top of the Premier League table after they lost at Upton Park, but are still just three points off leaders Leicester and also have a three-point advantage over Arsenal, who lost at home to Swansea last night.

While the defeat was a bitter pill to swallow, Spurs have the opportunity to land a death blow on Arsenal’s title challenge with a win at White Hart Lane on Saturday, and Mason admits that it is a huge game in the context of this season’s title race.

The Tottenham midfielder believes their record against Arsenal at home in recent years has been positive, and he is fairly confident that they can come out on top in this weekend’s north London, which has always been a special occasion for fans of both clubs in the football calendar.

The Tottenham midfielder told Spurs TV: “It’s a huge game.
