Celtic winger Patrick Roberts is confident that the club will see his best performances in the coming weeks of the season.
The 19-year-old joined the Scottish champions from Manchester City during the winter transfer window, on a loan deal until the end of next season, and made his debut for the Bhoys against Inverness last month as a late substitute.
He made his first start for Celtic against Dundee last night, and while the Bhoys were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw, Roberts earned a Man of the Match award for his performance at Celtic Park.
The winger was pleased to make his first start for the club, but is of the opinion that it was not one of his better performances, although he got the Man of the Match award.
Roberts is confident that with more game time this season, he will eventually find some rhythm and show his true ability in the coming weeks of the campaign.

The winger told Celtic TV: “It is always good to get the first ninety out of the way.
“It wasn’t my best performance personally, but that will come with games. You will see that in the coming weeks.
“There are still a lot of games left, so there is lot of time left in the season.”
Roberts is a regular for the England Under-19s, and has earned 14 caps for them until now.
