Celtic starlet Liam Henderson feels that Hibernian are a Premiership side playing in the Championship.

Henderson is currently on loan at Hibernian from the Bhoys and is enjoying his time at Easter Road, as Alan Stubbs' men look to secure promotion to the Premiership.

The young midfielder is impressed with the quality of players he is turning out alongside at Hibs and feels that in terms of talent, Stubbs' side are every inch a Premiership outfit.

"This is a Premiership side playing in the Championship", Henderson was quoted as saying by the BBC.
 


"We enjoy playing against Premiership teams as they open up against us a little bit more and we find a little more space", the midfielder continued.

Hibernian face Premiership opposition later today when they lock horns with Inverness in the Scottish Cup, aiming to book a spot in the last four of the competition.

Stubbs' men then play Ross County in the final of the League Cup next Sunday, meeting a Premiership side yet again.
