Willian has stated that Chelsea will go hard at Paris Saint-Germain from the first minute during their Champions League Round of 16 second leg clash at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

The Blues, who were ousted from the same stage of the continental competition by PSG last season, lost the first leg 2-1 in France, courtesy of strikes from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani, while John Obi Mikel managed to score a vital away goal for the Premier League giants.

A 1-0 win in London will be enough for Chelsea to go through to the next round of the Champions League and extract revenge for last season’s elimination.

And Willian, who admitted it will be a difficult game at Stamford Bridge, however, insisted that Chelsea have the quality to progress in the Champions League at the expense of the French champions.

“We know it is a big game and we have to show our quality. It will be difficult for us, but I think we can win”, he told the club’s official site.

“We have great quality in the squad, they have as well, and games like this are 50/50. On Wednesday, from the beginning, we have to show them what we want.

“From the first minute we have to show them that. They will want to dominate possession, but we have to pressurise them, press them and play our football as well.

“We are at home where we have more confidence to play and we will do that. I repeat, it will be a difficult game, but we can do it.”

The loss at Parc des Princes is Chelsea’s only defeat since Guus Hiddink took charge of the club in December.
