Leeds United legend Eddie Gray feels it will be an interesting game at the Den on Saturday because it will be a contest between Millwall’s attack and the Whites’ defence.

Thomas Christiansen’s team have kept six consecutive clean sheets in the league this season and have not conceded a goal in the Championship since their opening day 3-2 win over Bolton Wanderers.

On the other hand, Millwall, who gained promotion from League One last season, have been in good form in front of goal, finding the back of the net 10 times in seven league outings.

And Gray, who admitted that Millwall’s forwards will be a threat for Leeds at the weekend, thinks the meeting between a solid defence and a good attack will make a good mix for the game.

“They have [momentum from last season]”, Gray said on LUTV.

“They were a bit unfortunate against QPR as they were up and then they were pegged back.

“They score goals and their front boys will be a threat.

“It will be actually interesting on Saturday because they are scoring goals and we are not conceding goals.

“That makes a good mix for a game.”

Besides having the best defensive record in the Championship, Leeds have also scored the most goals in the league this season.

The Yorkshire giants have been devastating on the break in the away games and Gray said that he is expecting the same at Millwall.

“Away from home we’ve been hitting teams very quickly on the break”, he continued.

“We’ve now got players in the side who can get by defenders and get by midfield players with the ball and that opens everything up.

“I can see that happening at Millwall on Saturday again.”
