Jose Mourinho believes Romelu Lukaku has joined Manchester United at the right time in his career.

Manchester United shelled out £75m to snare the striker away from Everton and from under Chelsea’s noses during the summer transfer window, and the Belgian has made a fantastic start to life at Old Trafford.

The 24-year-old has already netted six goals in as many games in all competitions this season and has been a key player behind Manchester United’s good start to the campaign.

Lukaku already had 83 Premier League goals under his belt with West Brom and Everton before he moved to Old Trafford and Mourinho believes Manchester United got him at the right stage of his career.

The Manchester United manager also feels his team’s style of football and the dressing room atmosphere suits the Belgian.
