Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha insists that an aspect of the job at Ibrox that pleases him is that there is no time to stop and think, with continuing to work hard and clock up the wins the overriding aim.

The Gers are scheduled to play four matches over the course of the next fortnight, with the first of them being against Partick Thistle away from home this evening.

In spite of having run riot against Dundee in their last match, winning it 4-1 in the end, the manager insists that at a club of Rangers's stature there is no time to relax and celebrate over one result.

While there were a lot of positives to take away from the game, the manager insists that there are still improvement areas.

But Caixinha says the most satisfying aspect of it all though is that the players are eager to take his advice and continue with their winning momentum, not settling for where they are at present.

“I think what really pleases me in this job and working in this massive club is that you don’t have time to stop and think, you just need to keep analysing things with hard work and winning at the same time", the manager said at his pre-match press conference.

“That’s the reason we are here and that’s the reason we have this group of players because they are not satisfied after you win a game which you win 4-1 and I’m not totally happy.

"That’s the mentality we need to spread.

"We won, okay, 4-1, good result, good performance in some moments of the game, but need to improve in some other moments.

“That’s the reality we need to face and only thinking like this you can grow as a team, I can grow as a coach and they can grow as players as well.”
