Brendan Rodgers is delighted with the way his Celtic team have reacted after their midweek mauling at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, as the Bhoys thrashed Ross County 4-0 on Saturday afternoon in the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic were outclassed by PSG at Paradise as the French giants put five past the Scottish champions to display the gulf that exists between the two clubs on the European stage.
Rodgers was looking forward to seeing his team come back from such a hammering with a performance when Ross County visited Parkhead and the Celtic boss was not left disappointed.
Goals from Tom Rogic and Moussa Dembele in the first half put the Scottish champions in a comfortable position and James Forrest scored a brace after the break to complete a convincing 4-0 win over Ross County at home.
Rodgers believes it is a mark of a team with character that they responded to adversity with such a strong performance in the league and was pleased with the overall showing of his players.
