Rangers defender Fabio Cardoso has insisted that his side cannot keep committing defensive mistakes such as the ones they made in Friday night's 2-2 draw away at Partick Thistle.
Graham Dorrans scored in the 77th minute to rescue a point for Rangers against Partick Thistle despite the Glasgow giants taking a lead in the 19th minute through an Alfredo Morelos goal.
Partick Thistle started the second half in strong fashion and scored two to take the lead, but were down to ten men when Chris Erskine was sent off in the 67th minute, which allowed Rangers to claw their way back into the game.
Rangers looked especially shaky at the back in the second half once Partick Thistle started to mount pressure on them and Cardoso admits that they cannot keep committing the same defensive mistakes going forward this season.
The defender is keen to right the wrongs when they again take on Partick Thistle on Tuesday night in a Scottish League Cup quarter-final clash.

Cardoso told Rangers TV after the game: “It was a hard game.
“We can’t commit mistakes like this after scoring two goals and we committed a lot of defensive errors that we really can’t.
“We have to improve and do better on Tuesday.”
Rangers moved up to third in the Scottish Premiership table on eleven points, but have played a game more than teams around them in the standings.
