Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has dismissed claims that his players are being overworked and that they could burn out come the business end of the season.
The Argentine prefers to stick with the same starting eleven when possible, but has had to make a few changes because of injuries to key players this season.
Bielsa, however, has pointed out that his side have the fewest injuries in the division and that the sign of burnout is when players pick up muscular injuries.
“We analyse case-by-case", the Leeds boss told a press conference following the win at Wigan, when asked about the risk of burnout.

“We are the team with the least injuries in the Championship. We protect the players.
“If you factor players used by injuries, we are low.
"Muscular injuries are the result of burnout but that is not the case with our injuries.
"Usually as an average each team when you play twice a week, four players are missing through injury.
"We are close to this average."
Leeds returned to the top of the Championship table after beating Wigan 2-1 away from home on Sunday.
The Whites bounced back well after conceding in the sixth minute of the game as goals from Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe did the trick.
Bielsa’s side will take on fellow promotion hopefuls West Brom in their next Championship fixture.
