Liverpool legend Steve Nicol thinks that the Reds looked tired during their 2-0 defeat to Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday and insisted that it might be time for Jurgen Klopp to ring in some changes.
The Reds suffered a shock 2-0 defeat at the hands of Vladan Milojevic’s side at the Red Star Stadium during their Champions League Group C clash courtesy of a first half brace from Milan Pavkov.
Klopp’s men failed to press the case to book their place in the knockout stage of the competition after suffering their second loss in Europe this season and slipped to second place in Group C behind Napoli.
Liverpool will face a stern test away from home against Paris Saint-Germain in their next Champions League game before they host Napoli at Anfield, as they aim to avoid a group stage exit from the competition this year.

Nicol, who won four league titles at Anfield during his playing career, feels that Liverpool looked tired during the game against Red Star and insisted that Klopp should try and adopt some changes in formation.
“They looked tired”, Nicol said on ESPN FC.
“Since the Spurs game back in September they have had a lot of games, pretty much every four days, including the international week as well.
“They looked jaded and when a team look jaded, I think you have to change the system.
“Klopp did it in the second half of the game when they went three at the back and they dominated the second half.
“So maybe that is the way for him to go to try and get some legs back”, he added.
Liverpool will next face Fulham at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday as they aim to keep pace with Manchester City.
