Leeds United forward Kemar Roofe insists that a goal against his former club West Brom would not be extra special.

Roofe spent more than 15 years at West Brom, but did not get the opportunity to make a first team appearance as he had several loan spells away from the club before signing for Oxford United on a permanent deal.

The forward will face his old club when Leeds travel to the Hawthorns on Saturday to take on the Baggies in the Championship.

Roofe has scored in each of his last three Championship games and maintains that a strike against West Brom would be just another goal.

“It would be just another goal, it doesn’t matter who I score against or how they go in.

“It is just about helping the team to win”, Roofe told Leeds United’s official website.

West Brom are on a four-game winless run in the Championship and Leeds will hope to take advantage of their opponents’ poor run of form.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side are currently top of the Championship table by virtue of goal difference.
