Mateusz Klich has insisted that he is up for some more late drama as long as Leeds United keep their winning run going, as he feels three points are the only currency that matters.

A brace for Kemar Roofe in stoppage time earned Leeds the three points against Blackburn on Boxing Day when the game seemed more or less lost following Charlie Mulgrew’s goal in the 90th minute.

Leeds also came back from two goals down at Aston Villa at the weekend and needed Roofe to score one more goal in stoppage time to get all three points from Villa Park as well.

Klich admits that there is a feeling positivity at Leeds at the moment but insisted the season is still long with 22 games still left to play.

Asked if Leeds are showing title winning quality, the midfielder said on LUTV: “Yes, but still 22 games to go.

“But it looks perfect and positive for us at the moment.”

Leeds will host Hull City on Saturday at Elland Road and Klich admits that he is prepared for more late drama if the Whites manage to pick up three more points in the process.

Asked if Leeds will look to score a more comfortable win over Hull, the midfielder said: “In the end, if we get three points again, then I’ll take the same as at the end only points matter.

“I hope we get a win again.”
