Hull City defender Jordy de Wijs believes that his team deserved at least a point in their last match against Leeds United at the KCOM Stadium, and has welcomed the opportunity to go to Elland Road at the weekend.

The Tigers were victims of a single strike from Tyler Roberts in the 51st minute of their match against the league leaders in early October.

And now as they prepare to visit Elland Road for their final match of 2018 this weekend, De Wijs insists that Hull will look to turn that loss into a win and continue with their winning momentum.

Assessing their opponents, who are currently flying high and are on a seven-match winning run, the defender said that though it is going to be tough, every team in the division are capable of defeating everybody.

“Leeds are obviously a very good side because they are at the top of the league”, De Wijs told his club's official website.

“But, like everyone always says about this league – everybody can beat everybody.

“I think we maybe deserved a point in the first game at the KCOM Stadium but we now have a chance to go there and pick up some more points.

“We have to go to Elland Road with a lot of confidence and continue to play as a team.

"We are looking forward to testing ourselves against a top team in the Championship, but it is important that we play with no fear."

After the initial struggles in the league, Hull have recovered and are undefeated in their last six league games.
