Blackburn Rovers playmaker Bradley Dack has admitted he is raring to face top flight opposition for the first time at Ewood Park, during his side's FA Cup third round replay against Newcastle United.

Dack, who has scored 13 goals in all competitions this term, broke the deadlock during Rovers’ 1-1 draw with Newcastle at St James’ Park on Saturday.

The Magpies’ late equaliser through Matt Richie meant that both teams were inseparable at the end of regulation time and a third round FA Cup replay has already been scheduled for next week.

Despite failing to help his team secure qualification to the next round, Dack admitted he is eagerly waiting to feature in the replay fixture at Ewood Park.

Dack has yet to face Premier League opposition at Ewood Park and insisted he is looking forward to locking horns with Newcastle in the third round replay.

“I've played against Premier League opposition at Ewood Park only in pre-season, so it will be nice to play against a top side in a competitive match”, Dack told iFollow Rovers.

The 25-year-old also urged the fans to keep supporting the club in numbers and extended his gratitude towards the traveling faithful, who gave the players a huge lift on Tyneside.

“Hopefully we can get a big crowd in and treat them to something really special”, he continued.

“The fans were amazing at Newcastle, and we all know how great our support is away from home.

“They make so much noise for us, win, lose or draw. They helped us through the game at St James' Park, for sure."

Dack, who is Blackburn’s top-scorer this term, has been directly involved in 20 goals from his 27 appearances across all competitions this season.
