Wolves and Stoke City are amongst the clubs who are keeping close tabs on Guingamp youngster Aboubaker Es Sahhal.

The 17-year-old striker has emerged as one of the brightest young talents from the club’s academy and has scored four goals and provided three assists this season for Guingamp’s reserve side this season.

But the French club are in danger of losing him in the summer as his contract expires at the end of the season and there is no agreement in place to extend his stay.

The young Frenchman’s contract situation has piqued the interest of clubs across Europe and he has been looked at by a number of outfits.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, Premier League outfit Wolves and Championship side Stoke are keeping a close eye on the striker with a view to signing him in the summer.

The two English clubs have ramped up their scouting on the youngster and are keeping tabs on his development at Guingamp.

However, they are expected to face competition for his signature as Portuguese giants Benfica and Italian outfit Atalanta also have their eyes on him.

Es Sahhal has also been part of France’s Under-18 set-up and has three youth caps to his name.
