Crystal Palace have reached an agreement with Brazilian giants Sao Paulo for highly-rated goalkeeper Lucas Perri and are poised to land him on loan.

Eagles boss Roy Hodgson wants the 21-year-old at Selhurst Park and the Premier League side have made a breakthrough in talks.




Crystal Palace have reached an agreement with Sao Paulo on the basis of a year-long loan deal, with the purchase option set at €7m, according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Perri, who has also been linked with Italian side Fiorentina, will be looking to make an impact in England with Palace and challenge for the number 1 spot between the sticks.
 


He has represented Brazil at Under-20 level, but is yet to establish himself at Sao Paulo.

Perri will link up with a Crystal Palace side sitting in 14th place in the Premier League standings.

Hodgson's men travel to Liverpool this weekend to lock horns with the league leaders, while they then play host to Tottenham Hotspur at Selhurst Park.
