Draxler scored in stoppage time on Wednesday night to clinch all three points as PSG beat Metz 1-0 in a Ligue 1 game.

The Parisians lost their first two league games of the season and looked set to continue their winless start to the season until Draxler scored the stoppage-time winner at the Parc des Princes.

But it has done little to change PSG’s mind about selling a player who still has a year left on his contract with the club.

And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, PSG sporting director Leonardo is still ready to sell the attacking midfielder as a way to bring in significant cash for the club.

Draxler has not pushed for a transfer away from PSG yet despite being a bit-part player at the club over the last two seasons.

Leeds have reportedly enquired about him, but it is far from clear whether they could take him to Elland Road before the window closes.

Leonardo has set an optimistic €60m asking price for the German, but so far the club are yet to receive a contract offer.

There is interest from Hertha Berlin but they are not prepared to meet PSG’s asking price.

Draxler is happy to be a bit-part player at PSG and could leave the club on a free transfer next year.
