The Netherlands international joined the Villans from French club Lille on an initial loan deal in 2018 and made the move permanent last summer.

El Ghazi has been a regular in Dean Smith’s side since arriving at Villa Park and has started in both their EFL Cup ties so far this season, while he remained an unused substitute against Sheffield United in the Premier League.

However, an exit from Aston Villa could be on the cards for the 25-year-old, with the player attracting transfer interest.

Greek giants Olympiacos have placed the former Ajax star on their radar.

The Greek giants were briefly linked with a move for El Ghazi last summer.

Aston Villa have added Ollie Watkins and Bertrand Traore to their attacking options in the ongoing transfer window and it could mean less playing time for the Dutchman.

It remains to be seen if Olympiacos will turn their interest in El Ghazi into an offer and if the player would be tempted by a move to Greece.
