Sancho has been Manchester United’s top target for several months, but with only ten days left in the window, the winger is still at Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester United have so far refused to pay the €120m asking price for Sancho and Dortmund have been insisting that they are no longer going to sell the winger in the ongoing transfer window.

But the Premier League giants have not given up on signing the 20-year-old despite suggestions that they are considering other targets.

And it has been claimed that Solskjaer has been repeatedly assured that Sancho will be a Manchester United player by the time the window slams shut on 5th October.

The Manchester United manager has continued to ask the club’s board of directors and recruitment team about the state of their pursuit of Sancho.

And the club have maintained to the Norwegian that he should remain calm and the club will eventually sign the winger.

Manchester United have a deal in place with Sancho and his representatives over his salary and agents fees.

The Red Devils are trying to ascertain a payment structure with Dortmund that would be acceptable for both clubs
