The 24-year-old winger has been linked with a move away from Utrecht with several clubs believed to be interested in signing him.

Italian outfits Cagliari and Hellas Verona are interested in taking him to Serie A and he has also been linked with a transfer to the Premier League with Leeds claimed to be interested.

The 24-year-old scored in Utrecht’s 3-1 win over RKC Waalwijk at the weekend and insists that he is not spending time thinking about the possibility of leaving Utrecht in the final week of the window.

The winger is keen to remain calm and patient over the next few days and claimed that he could even play for Utrecht in their league game on Friday.

Kerk told Dutch daily De Telegraaf: “We will see what will happen.

“The week is still long. I will remain calm.

“Maybe, I will play against Heerenveen on Friday.”

Kerk has been at Utrecht, where he has caught the eye, since 2012 and has three more years left on his contract.
