The 22-year-old French midfielder is Arsenal’s top target but the Gunners have not managed to come close to matching Lyon’s €60m asking price.

Lyon rejected a €38m bid from the north London club last week and club president Jean-Michel Aulas revealed that the offer from Arsenal was not even worth thinking about.

Juventus have contacted Lyon to probe the possibility of signing Aouar and it has been claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are looking to agree a deal to sign him next summer.

But according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Aouar is in favour of moving out of France and experiencing a new league.

The Frenchman is receptive to the offer from Arsenal and is prepared to move to north London if they can agree on a fee with Lyon.

Aouar is keen to move on from Lyon but for the moment no club have got close to working out an agreement with the French giants.

Lyon are believed to be ready to keep Aouar for one more season if they do not get a satisfactory offer for him.

PSG are in contact with Lyon and are keen to strike a deal with the French giants to sign the midfielder next summer.
