Eagles boss Roy Hodgson has so far bought in Eberechi Eze, Nathan Ferguson and Michy Batshuayi over the summer to bolster his squad.

Former Crystal Palace hitman Alexander Sorloth, who spent last season on loan in Turkey at Trabzonspor, is the only major departure for the Londoners with the Norwegian joining Bundesliga outfit RB leipzig on a permanent deal last month.

And the Eagles are set to end the current international transfer window without any new faces coming in through the door at Selhurst Park.

However, an additional window for EFL transfers is open until 16th October and Crystal Palace could snap up more players with Championship side Brentford’s Said Benrahma on Hodgson’s radar.

Promising Crystal Palace youngsters Scott Banks and John-Kymani Gordon were linked with loan moves away from Selhurst Park this summer.

But both players are set to remain in south London at least until the 2021 January transfer window opens.

Several EFL clubs have lodged enquiries about taking Eagles Under-23s winger Banks on loan over the summer but Palace are currently happy with the development the 19-year-old is undergoing at the club.

The club feel the current standard of football is sufficient for their talents and the January window will open in just 12 weeks.
