The Whites have made landing another winger a priority before the window slams shut and have had a bid for Raphinha accepted by French side Rennes.
It is claimed the club will pay around £17m plus add-ons to take the former Sporting Lisbon winger to Elland Road.
And, according to The Athletic, they are confident that they will get the deal over the line today.
The deal is in place, but Raphinha will still need to pass his medical at Leeds; Michael Cuisance recently failed a medical to join the club from Bayern Munich.
Leeds will also have to have a work permit application for Raphinha accepted.
Raphinha only joined Rennes last year from Sporting Lisbon and helped the club to qualify for this season’s Champions League.
Rennes are signing Belgian prospect Jeremy Doku, who has been tracked by Liverpool, from Anderlecht as his replacement.
