West Ham are keen to offload Anderson, who has fallen out of favour at the London Stadium, and he has a potential move to Portugal on the agenda.
Porto are interested in loaning Anderson for the season but, according to the Guardian, the chances of the deal going through are small.
The attacking midfielder takes home £110,000 per week at the London Stadium and a move for West Ham would only make sense if the Portuguese giants cover his salary.
It is unclear if Porto will be willing to pay Anderson’s salary, or whether there is a compromise to be found.
Porto won the Portuguese league title last season and a move to the club would hand Anderson the chance to play Champions League football this term.
He could face the prospect of limited game time if he stays at West Ham beyond the closure of the window.
However, with the January transfer window less than 12 weeks away, Anderson could still exit West Ham soon even if he misses a deadline day move.
