Traore made his senior national debut for Spain on Wednesday when La Furia Roja squared off against Portugal in an international friendly.

The Wolves winger was joined by Arsenal midfielder Ceballos in the Spanish dressing room with the midfielder having already made his senior debut back in 2018.

Despite donning the shirts of rivals in the Premier League, Ceballos heaped praise on his countryman as the midfielder lauded Traore’s prowess in taking on one-on-one challenges, even in the intensely competitive environment of the top flight.

Ceballos feels Traore’s physical attributes and pace make him difficult for defenders to deal with while the Gunners star also highlighted the winger’s ability to whip in quality crosses from the flanks.

“What amazes me about him is his physical strength and how easy he takes on one-on-ones in the Premier League, where there are very strong players”, Ceballos was quoted as saying by Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo.

“He is very difficult to stop.

“He knows how to work on the flanks and put in good crosses.”

Ceballos, who is currently on loan at the Emirates Stadium from Real Madrid, will host Traore’s Wolves in the Premier League for the first time this season with a clash in north London pencilled in for 28th November.
