The 19-year-old centre-back is the product of the League Two side’s academy and he has been attracting major interest from clubs above the fourth tier of English football.

The teenage defender’s performances have piqued the interest from several clubs in the Premier League and the Championship this season.

It has been claimed scouts from several clubs have flocked to Grimsby’s matches in recent weeks to watch Pollock in action.

And Premier League pair Fulham and West Brom have had their talent spotters check up on Pollock.

Pollock scored in consecutive games during the Christmas period and has been tipped to move on to bigger things in the future.

The teenager is out of contract in the summer, but Grimsby are likely to take up the option to extend his contract until 2022.

The League Two side are unlikely to stand in his way if an offer comes in from top clubs, but want to secure their investment by extending his contract.

It remains to be seen whether any of his suitors are prepared to make a move for Pollock in the winter transfer window.
