The Belgian outfit were plying their trade in the second tier when the King Power Group, who already owned Premier League side Leicester, took over them in 2017.
Four years into the King Power Group’s management of the club, Leuven have made their way into the Belgian top flight and currently sit sixth in the league.
Leuven have made strides forward under the new management and striker Henry can already see similarities between their infrastructure and Leicester’s.
The Frenchman admitted that the size of the two clubs is different, but feels Leuven have fantastic infrastructure, which he believes stands them in good stead to succeed.
“The infrastructure at Leuven is also fantastic“, Henry was quoted as saying by Belgian outlet Voetbal Krant.
“It is of course on a different scale than at Leicester, but it is a bit similar.
“If you look at the club from the inside, it is just great class.
“All details are meticulous and well-thought-out to achieve a top result.“
Leicester caused an upset to the Premier League big guns by winning the Premier League in 2016 and Leuven will be hopeful of replicating their sister club’s league title winning achievement soon.
