Winks has been linked with a potential switch away from Tottenham during this month’s transfer window in a bid to play regular first team football.
However, Mourinho insists he has been clear that Winks will not be leaving the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this month and stressed that the midfielder has been handed recent minutes on the pitch.
The Portuguese also urged sides that are keen on Winks and plotting a bid not to waste their time by contacting Tottenham.
Asked in a press conference about talk linking Winks with a move, Mourinho laughed and replied: “What do I have to say to stop with this talk? I said already that he’s going nowhere. When I say he’s going nowhere, what more do you want me to say?
“He played the last matches. He didn’t play the last one because it was a chance to let players like Gedson get minutes.
“Tomorrow he’s selected again. If someone’s talking to other clubs I’d say don’t waste your time.”
Mourinho’s Spurs are in action at home against Fulham on Wednesday before then making the trip to strugglers Sheffield United on Sunday.
