The Scottish winger is in the final months of his contract at Aberdeen and is moving towards the exit door after not agreeing a fresh deal.
Glasgow giants Rangers have an interest in Wright and could even look to do a deal to sign him from Aberdeen during this month’s transfer window.
Addressing Wright’s links with the Light Blues, Dons midfielder Ferguson has insisted that it is not a subject for him to speak about although there has been a lot of talk about it.
The 21-year-old asserted that he is not bothered about Rangers’ interest in his team-mate as long as he continues to play well for the Dons.
“There is a lot of talk about Scott at the moment, but it is not for me to talk about“, Ferguson was quoted as saying by the Evening Express.
“If he is playing well for us at the moment then that’s all I’m worried about.”
While Rangers have made an approach for Wright, it remains to be seen if they will submit a formal offer for the Aberdeen star soon.
