Tuchel has started life at Chelsea on a positive note, picking up seven points from his opening three league games without conceding a single goal.

Chelsea are sixth in the Premier League table, but are just four points behind fourth-placed Liverpool in the race to finish in the Champions League spots.

Sherwood feels the Blues are Tuchel’s biggest job so far in his career as he believes Chelsea are by far the biggest club he has managed despite being at PSG and Borussia Dortmund.

The former Premier League manager also insisted that despite all the money he had at PSG to invest in his squad, the Chelsea squad are still the best set of players he has managed thus far.

Sherwood said on Premier League TV following the win at Tottenham: “This is the biggest club he has ever been at.

“At Paris Saint-Germain, they had two world-class players – [Kylian] Mbappe and Neymar – and yes they had very good players.

“But I don’t think he has had a squad of players like this Chelsea squad, quality in every position.”

Tuchel will be looking to continue the impact he has enjoyed so far at Chelsea and drive the Blues back up into the top four.
