The 28-year-old winger is the talismanic figure of the Crystal Palace squad and has scored nine Premier League goals in 19 appearances this season.
He provided an assist in Crystal Palace’s 4-1 win over Leeds earlier in the season but he will not be recreating his magic at Elland Road on Monday night.
Hodgson confirmed that Zaha has picked up a hamstring injury and he is not sure when the forward will be available again.
He has been ruled out of the Leeds clash and the Crystal Palace manager admitted that he is likely to be out for a longer period of time.
The Crystal Palace boss said in a press conference: “He has a hamstring injury.
“We don’t know how long it will keep him out but he certainly won’t be available for this week.
“It could be even longer.”
Leeds will look to avenge the heavy loss they suffered at Selhurst Park when they host Crystal Palace at Elland Road at the start of next week.
