Grealish was pivotal in keeping Aston Villa in the Premier League last season and that contributed to the club managing to keep him at the club despite interest from several clubs.
The midfielder also signed a new contract with the club in the summer and has again been instrumental in Aston Villa fighting for one of the European spots in the league table this year.
Martinez claimed that Grealish is one of the best players he has watched in his career and easily the most talented English player he has seen.
He insisted that his ability to drive at opposition defences and his dribbling skills almost make him look like Messi but with a right foot.
The Aston Villa goalkeeper said on talkSPORT: “He is the most talented player I have ever seen.
“He never gives the ball away. I cut across and I see Grealish running, I see it’s a shot on target or corner.
“He will drive past two or three players.
“I just see Messi with the right foot when he is on the ball, you can’t get it off him.
“He is the most talented English player and I am surprised he has not played many games for England.”
Aston Villa are expected to again receive approaches for Grealish in the summer with the heavyweights of the Premier League expected to try and sign him.
