Lukaku joined Inter from Manchester United in 2019 for a deal worth €80m, a sum which is a club record for the Serie A giants.

The Nerazzurri were due to pay a €1.9m bonus from the Lukaku deal to Manchester United at the end of last season.

There were claims that the payment was missed and meant Inter now owe a total of €50m to Manchester United this year for the complete deal as part of the terms.

But according to Italian daily La Repubblica, the two clubs renegotiated the payments terms of the deal.

Inter are suggested to have paid the bonus in question in January this year.

It is claimed that the relations between the two clubs are good and there are no issues relating to the Lukaku deal.

Lukaku has been a runaway success in Italian football and has netted 18 times in 23 Serie A games for Inter so far this season.
