The Argentine tactician currently is at the helm of Ligue 1 giants PSG and is already adding players to his transfer wish list for the summer.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Pochettino has zeroed in on Spurs full-back Aurier as one of his top targets when the transfer window swings open in the summer.

Aurier played under Pochettino when the 49-year-old was in the dugout at the north London outfit and the PSG coach still rates the defender highly.

The Ivorian joined Spurs in the summer of 2017 from PSG and has been open about his desire to return to the Parc des Princes before he hangs up his boots.

Pochettino is claimed to have held talks with the 28-year-old and let him know that he would like him to return to the French capital.

Tottenham are prepared to part ways with the player and a transfer fee of €12m has been mooted.

Aurier has made 14 Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season and it remains to be seen whether he will return to his former club PSG after the current campaign.
