Manchester City’s highest ever goalscorer has just months left on his deal with the club and has been linked with a move away from the Etihad.

There are suggestions that Pep Guardiola wants to keep him and Manchester City could offer him a new contract, but he could opt for a fresh start.

He has been linked with a move to London with Chelsea with claims that the Argentine wants to continue playing in the Premier League.

However, Chelsea are not currently chasing a deal for Aguero.

The Blues are in the market for a striker, but want to bring in a long term option and have their sights firmly set on Haaland.

Aguero will turn 33 in the summer and with Olivier Giroud potentially staying, Chelsea may not want to add one more veteran forward to their ranks.

Thomas Tuchel is likely to be given the funds to chase the signing of Haaland, who most of Europe’s big clubs want at the moment.

Aguero is a four-time Premier League winner and has 257 goals in 384 appearances for Manchester City.
