With four consecutive Premier League starts for Leeds, Llorente appears to have put his injury woes behind him, having spent the majority of the current campaign on the sidelines.

The centre-back was met with more good news earlier this week as he has been called up to Luis Enrique’s Spain squad for their upcoming games against Greece, Georgia and Kosovo.

Leeds legend Dorigo feels Llorente’s La Roja call up is well deserved as his class is evident in the way he drives with the ball forward into midfield and sprays passes for Leeds, in addition to his defensive capabilities.

And Dorigo is of the view that all of Llorente’s qualities suits the Whites’ style of play perfectly.

Asked about his thoughts on Llorente’s call-up to the Spain national team, Dorigo told LUTV: “You can see why [he has been called up] as well.

“You can see he is class.

“You know defensively what he can do but when he gets on the ball, when he starts to move forward and really drive those passes into midfield and that is where that bit of extra class, I think you can see from him.

“And the way that we play, that [Llorente’s style] actually suits us down to the ground.

Llorente will be hoping to be in Marcelo Bielsa’s starting eleven again tonight when Leeds take on Fulham at Craven Cottage in a Premier League clash.
