The Red Devils thought they had opened the scoring against Tottenham when Edinson Cavani found the back of the net a few minutes before Heung-Min Son scored on Sunday.

However, Cavani’s opener was disallowed after VAR deemed that Scott McTominay had fouled Son in the build-up to the goal, leaving Ole Gunnar infuriated.

Speaking following the 3-1 win, Ole Gunnar claimed that he would not feed his son if he tried deceiving the referee as the South Korean allegedly had at the weekend.

The Manchester United manager’s comments were not well received by Mourinho, who stated that he is glad that Son’s father is a better person than the Norwegian.

Reacting to Mourinho’s statement, Noah, Ole Gunnar’s son, has insisted that the Spurs boss implying that his father was a bad person was a ploy to take the focus away from his side’s loss to Manchester United.

I had a good laugh“, Noah told Norwegian daily Tidens Krav.

I can promise you that I always get food.

Guess Mourinho just wanted to get focus away from losing the game.

I came to training today and was asked if I had got food today.

Having led Tottenham to just one win in their last four league games, pressure is starting to mount on Mourinho.
