Aguero is set to leave Manchester City in the summer when his current deal at the Etihad Stadium expires.

The Argentine’s situation in Manchester has put several clubs on alert as the likes of Chelsea, PSG and Barcelona are all keen on snapping him up as a free agent, along with Leeds.

Although Leeds are vying for Aguero’s signature with some of Europe’s top clubs, Elland Road is tipped to be a realistic destination.

Aguero is believed to be keen on joining a club where he will be able to clock up game time on a regular basis and sees Leeds as an appealing option.

Injury and illness has restricted Aguero to a peripheral role under Citizens boss Pep Guardiola, with him only making five top flight starts so far this season, and thus he is pining to get back to being a first team regular.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is keen on building on his team’s solid campaign in their first season back in the Premier League and could add Aguero to his squad should he look to bolster his attacking options.

It remains to be seen where Aguero will ply his trade next season onwards as he weighs up the offers on his table.
