The 23-year-old was making his first start in the Premier League when he was pitted against Manchester City full-back Walker back in October.

Walker ensured that the Sheffield United wing-back struggled on his full top flight debut by handing him a tough time and scoring the winner in the game at Bramall Lane.

Looking back at the clash, Lowe has hailed the England international’s performance as unreal and admits that he always wanted to test himself against the Manchester City star.

Revealing his admiration for Walker, the Blades defender also expressed his desire to reach the former Tottenham Hotspur star’s level, having witnessed his quality directly.

I’ve always wanted to play against Kyle Walker because he’s rapid and I want to see how I’d do against him“, Lowe told The Athletic.

I remember playing against him at Bramall Lane, we lost 1-0, and he was unreal.

I remember coming off the pitch and thinking that’s the level I need to be at.

The Sheffield United wing-back also revealed that Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech is another player he struggled to defend against.

Against Chelsea, going up against Hakim Ziyech, I couldn’t get near him“, Lowe said.

It wasn’t that he was stronger or quicker than me.

It’s just every time he had the ball it was gone before I got tight to him.

Lowe will be hopeful of learning from his experiences playing against Walker and Ziyech and using it to his own advantage.
