Bouy arrived at Leeds in the summer of 2017 on a free transfer from Italian giants Juventus and was handed a substantial four-year contract.

The midfielder was shipped off on loan spells to Spanish side Cultural Leonesa and Eredivisie outfit Zwolle, and has been frozen out at Leeds, no longer being involved in training either with the senior side or the Under-23s.

Bouy is yet to make a single appearance for Leeds since arriving at the club with his current contract set to end in the summer.

The 27-year-old’s four-year spell is nearing its end and he is preparing himself for his next challenge in the game.

Bouy took to social media platform Instagram to post a series of pictures of him going through drills on the training pitch, keeping his fitness in check under the supervision of a trainer.

Having seen his move to Leeds not work out as planned, Bouy will be keen on breathing life into his stalled career with him set to attain free agent status in the summer.

It remains to be seen if and where Buoy will ply his trade after this season having been on the books at clubs in the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Spain, Germany and England so far in his career.
