A bombshell was dropped on Monday night when it was revealed that Kane has communicated to Tottenham that he wants to move on from the club this summer.

The 27-year-old is said to have told the club that he wants a fresh challenge after another disappointing season for the north London outfit.

Kane is believed to be banking on a gentleman’s agreement with Daniel Levy to leave Spurs, but Tottenham are reportedly not interested in selling the striker this summer.

However, Mason stressed that he is not aware of any conversations between Kane and Spurs and insisted that he has only discussed the upcoming game against Aston Villa on Wednesday night.

The interim Spurs boss said in a press conference when quizzed about Kane and the club’s conversations: “Not that I am aware.

“All of my conversations with Harry have been about the game.

“I don’t know.”

Spurs are expected to demand at least £120m if they agree to sell Kane this summer.
