His performances have been noticed, despite Fulham being relegated and he is expected to now return to France.

And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, despite Fulham’s relegation, Andersen has enjoyed playing in the Premier League and wants to continue in England.

The Dane is happy with life in England and Premier League several clubs are believed to be interested in signing him this summer.

Tottenham are amongst the clubs who have been keeping tabs on the defender as part of their plans to bring in a centre-back.

Lyon were unwilling to engage in talks over Andersen’s future until recently, but are now prepared to sell him.

The French giants are looking at his potential departure as a means to raise funds from the market this summer.

They signed him from Sampdoria for a fee of €30m in 2019 and are likely to want to at least recoup that fee from his sale.
