Arsenal’s capture of Partey from Atletico Madrid shocked many as the Gunners triggered his release clause on the final day of the summer transfer window.

But he is yet to make the kind of impact Gunners fans were expecting and has not been able to stop Arsenal’s slide in the Premier League table.

Arsenal are still banking on the midfielder coming good next season and Ayew is also clear that once he is over his injury problems, Partey is going to make a massive impact in the Premier League.

The Swansea forward is confident that his compatriot will make it big for the north London club as there are no doubts about his quality.

Ayew told The Athletic: “I think Thomas… they’re going to see a lot from him very soon.

“I know his quality very well and he’s going to make it big.

“As soon as he’s going to get free with his injuries and get to his full speed, he’s going to be massive.”

Partey has made just 16 starts in the Premier League this season and has struggled with a few injuries.
