Radrizzani initially arrived at Leeds to become co-owner with countryman Massimo Cellino, though he then quickly took full control just six months later.

The Italian’s reign has seen Leeds win promotion back to the Premier League and they are set to finish in the top half of the table in their first campaign back after 16 years away.

Leeds are expected to look to further push on over the course of next season as they look to aim for European football as the next step in their development.

And Radrizzani, ahead of Leeds’ final game of the season this afternoon, has issued a message and revealed the club have given him some of the best emotions he has had in his life.

“4 years could be long time, or could be so quick if you live intensively and you achieve something unforgettable and you have built your legacy with a special club, a vibrant city and wonderful people around it”, he wrote on social media, posting a photograph.

“Thank you Leeds United to let me feel some of best emotions in my life.”

All eyes will be on how much money Radrizzani makes available for Leeds to spend during the rapidly approaching January transfer window as they look to go to the next level under head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
