Everton have named their team and substitutes for this afternoon’s crunch Premier League clash away at newly crowned champions Manchester City.

Carlo Ancelotti wants Everton to secure European football for next season and only victory at the Etihad Stadium would hand his side the possibility of catching West Ham United in sixth, although that is a slim prospect. More realistic for the Toffees is moving up to seventh and grabbing a Europa Conference League place.

Level on points with seventh placed Tottenham Hotspur, Everton will need at least a point, which would be enough if Spurs lose at Leicester, or possibly all three points, to stand a chance.

Ancelotti is again without James Rodriguez, who has a problem with his calf.

Jordan Pickford is in goal for Everton, while Mason Holgate and Lucas Digne operate as full-backs. Michael Keane and Ben Godfrey are in central defence.

Abdoulaye Doucoure, Tom Davies and Allan will be looking to control midfield, while Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison support Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Ancelotti has options on the bench if needed at any point during the 90 minutes, including Bernard and Alex Iwobi.
