The Owls were relegated from the Championship this season as they finished bottom of the table, helped in small part by the six-point deduction they received.

Fans were not in attendance at stadiums to witness the Owls suffer relegation due to the ongoing situation, but they are slowly being let back into stadiums all across England.

Moore revealed that he is looking forward to seeing fans back in stadiums and highlighted the importance of everyone at Hillsborough being united in their common objective of moving the club forward.

He added that he expects the Owls to forget about past mistakes and focus on next season.

“We have to come together as one, we have to”, Moore was quoted as saying by Sheffield Wednesday’s official site.

“Coming together as one will see us progress together and that’s my message.

“I’m saying that as the manager.

“We’re really looking forward to seeing them all but it’s really important we come together as one.

“Let’s all come together as players, staff, supporters, everyone connected to the club and move this thing together.

“Our mentality and mindset are to only look forward now.”

The upcoming season will be the Owls’ first campaign in the third flight of English football since the 2011/12 season and they will be desperate to bounce back at the first time of asking.
