Following a torrid first season on Merseyside, Everton loaned the striker out to PSG last summer and the 21-year-old has been impressive at the Parc des Princes.

Kean has netted 19 goals in 45 appearances for the Parisians and has been an important part of the PSG squad this season.

He is scheduled to return to Everton in the summer, but Kean does not want to go back to Goodison Park.

Carlo Ancelotti recently confirmed that he will talk with the striker to assess his future, but according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Everton and PSG have started their negotiations.

The talks are still at an early stage and initial figures have been discussed without anything concrete being agreed upon.

Kean has told PSG and his entourage that he wants to stay in Paris and is expected to push Everton to do a deal.

Everton are also open to letting him go as long as they get a good price from his departure this summer.

The Toffees have other areas of the squad they want to strengthen and Ancelotti wants a winger.
